Charter Policy

Deposit

Feel Good Fishing Charters & Adventures requires a $100 deposit for all trips. Your deposit is 100% refundable if you cancel 7 days prior to the date of your charter, after which the deposit becomes non-refundable.  You can rebook your charter for a future date and if that date is available you will not loose your deposit.  If you have booked a fishing charter and do not turn up for the charter i.e. a "no show" the card will be charged for the full charter amount or you will be responsible for the full amount of the charter.

Weather conditions

If the weather conditions are deemed to be unsafe and/or not conducive to a good fishing opportunity, the Captain will cancel the trip.

What if the trip is cancelled due to bad weather?

If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, you will be given an opportunity to reschedule the trip for an available date, or we could go do something safer, or you will be given a 100% refund.

What should I bring?

You and your group are responsible for bringing your own personal items such as food, drinks, hats, sun glasses, sunscreen, windbreaker (or appropriate clothing for the conditions) and comfortable non-skid shoes.  For the smorgasbord trip it is suggested that you bring a pair of gloves (kevlar are the safest) and shoes that you do not mind getting dirty.

Children

Kids are always welcome on all trips.  We are here to provide fun for the whole family.

Fishing Equipment
All fishing equipment and related fishing gear will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own favorite rig or lure too.  If you prefer to bring your own fly fishing gear please do so.  All equipment for the smorgasbord trip will be provided

Preventing Seasickness

The best way to prevent seasickness is to manage it properly.  I am a captain not a doctor, and therefore may not give out medical advise.  However, if I have not been out on the open sea for some time then this is what I do:  I will take one Dramamine or Bonine the evening before the trip and one the morning of the trip with a glass of water. Stick to your normal routine, eat your normal meals.  Hangovers and seasickness make for a nasty combination, so please be aware of this.

The Catch

Whatever you catch is yours.  We also encourage catch and release and you are welcome to let all the fish you catch back into the water.  You are welcome to share your catch with the crew if you feel like doing so but are not obliged to do so at all.  If there is time available the captain will help clean and package your catch.

Please do not hesitate to contact Captain Andre for any additional questions.
